We are actively recruiting participants for the following studies.
Longitudinal Migraine and Diet Study
Purpose:
This is an observational study that aims to measure the dietary intake of individuals with migraine.
You may be eligible if you meet the following criteria:
- 18 years or older
- Experience migraine 4-14 days per month
- Not pregnant, recently pregnant, or breastfeeding
- Willing and able to participate in the study protocol
Procedures:
Participants will be asked to:
- Complete a daily headache diary for 4 weeks.
- Participate in 8 dietary recall interviews by phone.
- Complete an online health history questionnaire.
- Spend about 10 hours over 4 weeks on these tasks.
Compensation
$250 is available for fully completing the study. Compensation for partial completion is not available.

This research is being conducted by Dr. Margaret Slavin, Associate Professor of Nutrition and Food Studies, and has been approved by the Institutional Review Board of George Mason University, project #1866444.
